Water and Wine is a concert of original songs by Robert (Bomber) Perrier, performed by Robert with guitarist Dave McGuire and special guest Pearly Black. All proceeds above costs will go to The Hope Street Music Group (HSMG) for the purchase of equipment. HSMG is a music development project of Micah’s The Hive. Dave and Robert along with singer/songwriter, Emma Dyson, provide music, vocal and performance training for the group. Micah provides support services for " Common Ground".

Robert (Bomber) Perrier is a Brisbane singer/songwriter. In previous iterations he was a director and founding Artistic Director of the Murray River Performing Group (now Hothouse Theatre) and The Flying Fruit Fly Circus. His songs explore everything from personal relationships to politics. They are a blend of music and the literary.

Dave McGuire is a professional solo guitarist and highly sought after sideman. His style has developed over many years of composing, recording and performing. He has played with many of Brisbane’s finest singers including Pearly Black, Melissa Forbes, Alison St. Ledger, Leah Cottrell, Carol Lloyd and Kristin Berardi. Dave’s tone, touch and technique are second to none and he draws on a variety of rich musical influences including jazz, folk, pop, blues, reggae and soul.

Pearly Black is a singer of unusual breadth and versatility. Her glorious voice is a perfect blend of power and sensuality. Sophisticated, soulful and daring are words used to describe her singing. Pearly has performed for Women in Voice. Once described as an“unholy cross between Nick Cave and Shirley Bassey”, Pearly’s eclectic repertoire ranges over many genres from dark rock and gospel to flamenco, Latin and Bulgarian folkloric.
