Followers of Magda's will know the wonderful guitar music of Richard Gilewitz. Coming again to Oz, we're bringing him together with local rising star of sonic guitar, Sarah Koppen.

He is a terrific musician, his commentary is a hoot - and he is also a great fella, but please don't tell him that! It's the fourth time Richard has come to Brisbane to perform for Magda's. Incidentally, Tony McManus who once again played for Magda's ( 31.08.2018), is performing with Richard in Florida, Friday, 07.09.2018!
A collection of works by Richard Gilewitz spans a 30+ year career, from his first vinyl record "Somewhere In Between" and his CD' s to his newest singles in downloadable format. Forever the natural teacher, these works include performance DVD's, educational books and Software Discs for the student of guitar and ukulele.
Sarah is an emerging progressive fingerstyle guitarist based in Brisbane, Australia. Her jaw-dropping guitar stylings draws inspiration from artists such as Tommy Emmanuel, Andy McKee, John Butler and Rodrigo y Gabriela. Her mind blowing acoustic prowess will make you dance, laugh and shake your head in disbelief. Sarah has just toured with another regular Magda guitar magician, Michael Fix and we are very, very pleased to be able to bring such a wonderfully talented muso to the stage! Supporting superb live musicians is not a hardship! Here she is!
