MZAZA ... lassooed by Magda's - fresh from their European tour! Their first gig back in Oz and what a finale to a big month, near the end of a big year!? Multi-award-winning six-piece MZAZA returning to Brisbane after recording in Greece and again electrifying Europe along the way. Guest performers at festivals from here to everywhere and back, and multiple award winners - including 2 time Qld Music Award winners; MZAZA will play their special mix of Balkan French sounds. Led by enchantress, French-Sephardic vocalist - Pauline Maudy, this group of talented musicians are from Bosnia, Latvia, Greece, Turkey, France and Australia. The members - Ance Deksne, Greta Kelly, John Robertson, Goran Gajic and Jordan Stamos all dynamic musicians ..... and together? .... are one of the great looks and vibrant sounds of contemporary culture - not just here in Oz, but wherever MZAZA have played. Dance Sessions prior to concert: In the lead up to the show, Balkan dance teacher, Anita Schnepf Hurlimann (an expert in fun and social, circle dances of Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece and other Balkan countrires); will conduct a dance workshop on Saturday 17th November, 10am - 12 .... also at BrisWest Community Centre.

Tix limited: Pre-booked: $30 (Adults); $25 (Adult Concession); $22 (secondary + tertiary students); Children under 12 / 13: Free; $85 (Family Concession).
