Tango Enigmático and Magda Productions bring you a night of music full of passion and pain, flirtation and fire, nostalgia and nonsense. The tango is the music of emotion, of experience - and of the people. ‘A Night in Buenos Aires’ will feature Tango Enigmático’s spirited depictions of the tango in a tribute to this genuine and uniquely Argentinian art form.
Sunday 10th November, 6.30 - 9.30pm Holy Trinity Hall, Valley. Diarise and book now.
+$5 at door.
This event is especially significant for Magda's as it is also a celebration of the establishing of Guitar Brisbane as an independent NFP Incorporated Association in its' own right. Tango Enigmático’s willingness to be our musicians for this celebration is especially fitting - given the importance of the guitar in Argentinian music in general.
Brisbane based Tango Enigmático’s music brings a new energy, creativity and beauty to an enormous oeuvre of Argentinian music. There's plenty of space for dancing, seats for listening - and empanadas for eating. And a cash bar - all proceeds going to Guitar Brisbane Inc.
Don't miss it! Diarise and book now.
Tango Enigmático's line up features: Chloe Williamson, Flora Wong and Cara Tran - all musicians with style and a broad range of genres to their name. Followers of Magda's will remember Chloe performing with Shanasheel, and Flora with Italian classical guitarist, GianMarco Ciampa - at Magda's, 2016, inaugural Brisbane International Guitar Festival! [And that's where Guitar Brisbane began.]
